Victoria Olt “I’ve Saved All My Secrets For You”

The third exhibition at the Victoria Olt Gallery was deeply inspired by Victoria Olt's years spent in Spain.

I’ve Saved All My Secrets For You reflects Victoria Olt’s journey of self-discovery in Madrid, navigating love, heartbreak, and the restless summer nights where neither the darkness nor dreams seemed to offer solace or answers. Through a series of deeply personal, melancholic, and reflective artworks, the artist delves into themes of identity, and healing. The pieces employ striking visual narratives, often featuring abstract figures, dark tones, and symbolic elements. The art invites viewers to contemplate the complexities of love and its sometimes painful realities.

It's what we built
That crashes down on us
All the wings we made
Are now feathers in the dust

This is where we are, Justifying our falls
Killing each other
And wishing on dying stars

Many of the pieces from this collection are still available in our online shop. Like All the Wings We Made Are Now Feathers in the Dust, these works are accompanied by the evocative poetry of David Xam, adding another layer of emotional depth to the exhibition.

Victoria Olt is a traditional artist whose ethereal paintings fuse classical realism with the dynamic colors of contemporary art.

Her work delves into the depths of the human soul, capturing the complex emotions we often try to conceal. Using mixed media, she creates captivating “windows” into inner worlds that feel both timeless and deeply personal. Her art has been exhibited in galleries across the globe and is held in numerous private collections.

Born and raised in Estonia, Victoria later moved to Spain, where she pursued a degree in Fine Arts at the University of Seville. After graduating, she worked as a freelance artist in Madrid and Amsterdam. During the height of the pandemic, she relocated to the secluded island of Nevis, where she completed the Starchild collection. In late 2021, she returned to Estonia to open the Victoria Olt Gallery.

In an interview with Jerry Mercury in 2024 for ERR, Victoria said she wished to open a gallery because There aren't many galleries out there now that display primarily figurative art by younger artists, and I was really missing that. She went on to add: "Be the change want to you see in the world" and so I decided to follow it and display the art that I felt was underrepresented.
