Your First Art Collection III

Your First Art Collection 2024 - A Two-Part Exhibition and an Epic New Chapter

After outgrowing its cozy Old Town space, Victoria Olt Gallery launched a bold new era with the most unforgettable opening party of the year. Marking the transition into our brand-new, bigger location, the celebration kicked off with Your First Art Collection - a two-part group exhibition curated to encourage novice art collectors to get their very first artwork.

Visitors began their journey at the gallery’s original space on Viru 20, where the exhibition opened at 18:00. An hour later, something magical happened — over 150 guests formed a human train and followed one of the gallery’s most iconic elements: a glowing neon sign that speaks of Love. This luminous symbol led the procession through the city, arriving at the gallery’s brand-new space on Rävala pst 12, right next to the Alexela Concert Hall.

The exhibition features works by 23 artists from Estonia and across the world - including Italy, the USA, Ukraine, Cyprus, Poland, the Netherlands, and China. With styles ranging from oil painting and watercolor to collage and digital art, the show invites visitors to take the first step in building a personal art collection.

Your First Art Collection is more than just an exhibition - it’s an open invitation to bring art closer to home. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just beginning your journey, the diverse selection of works offers something to inspire everyone.

This was the final show of 2024, and the final show in the space in old town - and the beginning of something much bigger.
