“Calm and Chaos” invites the viewer to join Tomasz Mro on a journey of liberation, as he shares some of his earliest and most personal work. In this exhibition Tomasz combines digital techniques with his signature traditional style.

The exhibition begins with the “Yellow Series”, in which the artist reminisces about his childhood in Poland. This time however was cut short by his moving to the UK. Finding it difficult to adjust, the memories of his childhood took on a bittersweet tint of nostalgia, longing and magic.

“The Aura” series explores the vibrancy of colour in contrast to the mystery of darkness, both alive in the human spirit. Gathering inspiration from the artist's personal journey, the series reflects the discovery of one’s true self. “The Aura” tries to capture the mystery and energetic essence alive in every human spirit. It invites the viewer to explore their own aura and discover what might lurk in the deep depths of their soul.

The exhibition is concluded with the “Rainbow” series. It is a celebration of coming into ones own and discovering that this new being is brim full of vibrant colours, that are unapologetically unique and beautiful.
