Agnes Cecile

Silvia Pelissero was born in Rome in 1991. She attended art high school, also in Rome, before pursuing a career as an artist. She alternates periods of painting with events around the world, exhibiting and conducting workshops in some of the most prominent galleries in Europe. Among the first to use the internet to promote her paintings, by the age of 18, she already had a large and loyal online following. From the beginning, she has used the artist name Agnes Cecile, by which she is still known today.
Her style is characterized by clear, luminous images and vibrant colors. She has been drawing since childhood, attracted to the human figure and its expressiveness. She develops an instinctive and personal painting process, rich in rough brushstrokes, abstract forms, and rapid, gestural marks. She learns to express herself by creating intimate portraits that describe inner worlds and emotions. Her continuous exploration of emotional storytelling allows her to reach people from all backgrounds. This universal language opens doors for her to showcase her paintings worldwide.
