Tomasz Mro

Tomasz Mro is a self-taught artist, born in 1997 in Poland. After moving to England as a child, he grew up navigating the complexities of living between two cultures—a theme that has deeply shaped his artistic voice. His first solo exhibition at Victoria Olt Gallery “Calm and Chaos” delved into the search for identity, with his Yellow Series evoking a sense of nostalgia for his birthplace.

In his second exhibition with the gallery, Shades of Solitude, Mro turned inward, reflecting on loneliness and its seemingly inseparable connection to the life of an artist. Across his body of work, he is recognised for his hyperrealistic, emotionally charged portraits that resonate with quiet intensity.
