Ana and Kai Kurist “Bloom and Grow”

Dedicated to the love of mothers and their daughters.

Bloom and Grow speaks of the everlasting journey of growing as a person and reaching for the moments where we can “bloom”

On June 28, Victoria Olt Gallery opened "Bloom and Grow," the first collaborative exhibition between mother and daughter artists Ana Kurist and Kai Kurist. The exhibition explored the parallels between nature and human emotions, with Ana's expressive portraits contrasting with Kai's vibrant floral pieces. This exhibition was special for Ana, as it marked her first solo show, and she invited her mother to participate in recognition of Kai’s influence during her childhood. Kai’s works had never been exhibited before. The exhibition ran until August 27, 2023.

Ana Kurist is an emerging Estonian artist known for her expressive portraiture and bold use of color. She studied art both locally and abroad, which has shaped her dynamic style, blending technical skill with emotional depth. Her work often explores themes of human emotion, identity, and personal growth.
