Alchemist - Dark Magic | Watercolor Palette
The Alchemist collection is made of duochrome colour changing pigments to give your art an extra magical appearance. All colours change if you put them on a darker background.
This set includes the following colours:
Hemlock - a very pale yellow that turns bright gold when painted on a dark background (this one is amazing for details that can be invisible at one angle and gold from another, or you can drop it in an abstract wash to give the piece a lot of movement)
Moondew - dark purple that turns blue on a dark background
Lantana - this is my rendition of rose gold, it is blush pink on white and gold on a darker background
Mandrake - a beautiful teal shade that turns blue on a dark background
Each pan is beautifully wrapped and comes with a waterproof side label so you'll always know which paint it is. And with a magnet so it won't move in a metal watercolour palette
All sets come with the 4 paints with magnets, a swatch card, some freebies and extra side labels.
A lot of love and effort went into making these. It took me about a year to finish and be 100% happy with my Alchemist collection. And each paint is hand mulled hand poured and packaged by hand. (by yours truly!)
Both the pigments and the binder used are non toxic. There's no fillers and no additives in the paints except for my secret Christmas scented essential oil natural preservative.
Sometimes you can see little bubbles that got trapped in the paint in the process of mulling and that's normal in handmade hand poured paints.
