Alchemist - Light Magic | Dot Card
This is the dot card for the Alchemist Light Palette.
My dot cards are a paper card with generous dots of watercolour on it that serve as a way to try out new colours without having to commit to full pans of paint.
Instead of a plain printed background, my dot cards from the Alchemist collection have holographic foil details that turn all the colours of the rainbow when moved.
The Alchemist collection is made of duochrome colour changing pigments to give your art an extra magical appearance. All colours change if you put them on a darker background.
This set includes the following colours:
Aconite - purple that transforms into a golden bronze on a dark background
Centaurea - blue that turns green on a dark background
Nemesia - light shade that turns bright pink on black (this one is amazing for details that can be invisible at one angle and bright pink from another)
Belladonna - blush pink that turns blue on dark paper
Both the pigments and the binder used are non toxic. There's no fillers and no additives in the paints except for my secret Christmas scented essential oil natural preservative.
Sometimes you can see little bubbles that got trapped in the paint in the process of mulling and that's normal in handmade hand poured paints.
A lot of love and effort went into making these. It took me about a year to finish and be 100% happy with my Alchemist collection. And each paint is hand mulled hand poured and packaged by hand. (by yours truly!)
