“Many neurodivergent people say they feel like aliens in this world, trying to act like humans. Since childhood, I’ve also fantasized that one day I’ll be taken away to my real world or planet. As a child, I felt a lot of shame about these thoughts, but now I let myself freely fantasize about a world that meets my needs. Whether it’s through reading books, being lost in my thoughts, or sharing ideas with other neurodivergent people.”
