“This painting is the first in the series: the painting that opened the door to my inner child and laid the foundation for the entire series. As an artist, we are constantly pressured to keep evolving, but with this painting, my inner child needed to express itself and draw the things that brought it joy and fear: to express emotions rawly, in a way that hadn’t been allowed for a long time. Perfectionism kills the artist, but it's something children don't care about, which is why their creativity is so pure. The inner child, or the little lamb, can now be itself in peace, while the big lamb shows empathy for its needs.”
